PHYSICAL THEATRE
Creation begins in the body.
Before text or concept, movement and space shape meaning.
This workshop works with physical theatre as a living practice. Through guided improvisations, physical structures and spatial composition, participants are invited to discover a physical language that is playful, rigorous and driven by imagination.
At the heart of the work is the ensemble. Physical training and play form a shared ground where listening, rhythm and collective presence are developed. Drawing on Lecoq-based approaches and collaborative theatre practices, the workshop treats movement, timing and play as the engine of creation.
Attention is placed on how communication happens through the body in space—how posture, rhythm and physical relationships carry meaning. From this foundation, participants explore how physical action can generate narrative and speak directly to an audience.
The workshop creates a space for research and experimentation. Risk is encouraged, limits are tested, and creation is approached as a collective act—curious, demanding and alive.
Available for conservatoires, festivals and professional training programs, and independent participants — no prior experience required.
