CLOWNING
This workshop goes straight to where laughter begins—when we stop trying to be interesting and allow ourselves to be seen. Not prepared. Just present. And suddenly, things get funny.
Through play, rhythm and a live relationship with the audience, participants discover how the clown moves from one small disaster to the next with appetite rather than fear. Timing slips, expectations collapse, and failure becomes delicious material.
Clowning has nothing to do with tricks, costumes or “being funny.”
It begins the moment you stop hiding.
The work removes the pressure to perform. Awkwardness, excess and fragility are welcomed, not corrected. As control loosens, imagination sharpens and play gains precision. The clown appears when things go wrong—and the audience comes with you.
This workshop offers a joyful, mischievous space to rediscover pleasure, risk and the freedom of not knowing what comes next.
Available for conservatoires, festivals and professional training programs, and independent participants — no prior experience required.
